Hafnium dioxide is a non-toxic, odorless white solid, insoluble in water, hydrochloric acid and nitric acid, soluble in concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid; It has stable chemical properties, high melting point, excellent optical properties, especially the good light transmittance in the near ultraviolet to mid-infrared, high refractive index and excellent chemical stability. And it has become the first choice for high refractive index materials for high-power lasers.
Application areas:
1. The raw material of metal hafnium and its compounds, used in the nuclear industry;
2. Refractory materials, anti-radioactive coatings and special catalysts;
