Production Information:
Tungsten boride (WB/WB2), silver-white octagonal crystal, relative density 10.77, melting point about 2900℃. The most significant performance of tungsten boride is its high hardness. The Vickers hardness of WB or WB2 is about 20 GPa for crystals with a load exceeding 3 N, and about 30 GPa for WB4.
Tungsten boride has comprehensive properties such as high melting point, high hardness and chemical stability. It is not only an emerging superhard material, but also has high toughness, and is an important military bulletproof material.
Performance Character :
High purity: the highest purity can reach 99.99%, XRD detect no impurity phase.
